The city of Ripon will have a fireworks show after all. The Chamber of Commerce asked local businesses to help raise money for its Fourth of July celebration. Shoppers at the Save Mart store in Ripon could donate to the cause at the cash register from June 5 – 18. The two week campaign brought in $1,500. Store Manager Mike Moreno proudly presented the check this week, and the Chamber was very grateful. The fun at Mistlin Sports Park begins at 9:30 pm Tuesday , but people can stake out a spot starting at 6:00 pm.
