The environment looks marvelous this morning … thanks to the more than 750 volunteers who put in some long hours Saturday morning for the Annual Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful Fall Clean-Up Day. They picked up and removed 30,000 pounds of trash and 39,000 pounds of invasive weeds at a various sites.
That’s enough to work up a big appetite! Save Mart came to the rescue by feeding the hardworking crews. Several store managers in Nevada donated and grilled hot dogs and burgers for the volunteers. Way to go, Team Nevada!
