Yesterday, in the spirit of giving back to the community, Save Mart donated 300 turkeys to the Sacramento Food Bank’s Annual Turkey Drive!
Hunger is a real problem in many communities and it gets tougher for families in the holiday season. Save Mart is committed to helping those most in need and is honored to partner with the Sacramento Food Bank year round to help fight against hunger.
Dozens of Sacramento area Save Mart employees volunteered at the turkey drive helping unload turkeys from donor vehicles, thanking donors, and helped create a fun, positive environment for this community event. Volunteers helped collect over 16,300 turkeys- beating last years amount of 15, 449!
