San Jose Lucky to Debut as Newly Designed FoodMaxx

Everyone is invited to the Ribbon Cutting on Wednesday, March 14
Modesto, Calif., March 13, 2012 – What is a “new concept” FoodMaxx? The newly transitioned store combines an easy and simple shopping experience, similar to what this areas’ customers are use to, but with low “warehouse” discount prices. Customers can quickly dash in and out with a few items or spend time leisurely loading up a couple of baskets; the new layout was specially designed to combine the best of a conventional type store with traditional warehouse pricing. FoodMaxx is known for its “cheap” prices but this will be a new shopping experience for both Lucky and FoodMaxx customers.

Save Mart is hopeful this new format will better meet our customer’s shopping needs as well as enhance our sales. We know customers are counting every penny; pennies go farther at FoodMaxx. With new paint, new signage and shelving, easy in and out access, a choice of self check out or manned register, and with great pricing, we hope our customers are pleased.

The new FoodMaxx is located at 5510 Monterey Highway, San Jose. The grand opening will take place this Wednesday at 8:00 am, with ribbon cutting at 8:45. Refreshments will be served and customers can meet new store manager, Fred Darling. FoodMaxx will also present a $500 check to the Boys & Girls Club of Silicon Valley.
