Lucky California, Lucky Supermarket’s concept store, celebrated its first birthday Saturday with a Family Fun Day.
The Warrior Girls made an appearance, as did Big Red and the Oreo mascot. The store offered free birthday cake to customers who went through two full sheets in less than an hour.
To cap off the day, the CARES Foundation donated twelve full uniforms to the Daly City Baseball Association. This is on top of last year’s donation when the league received a $5,000 donation at the grand opening. The coaches and parents are grateful for the ongoing relationship they have with Lucky. They’re excited to fundraise all year long under the new Shares powered by eScrip program.
