Save Mart and S-Mart Foods stores are resuming sales of jalapeño peppers grown, harvested, and packed in the United States, along with products that include these peppers such as salsa. Sales of these foods will resume immediately. The FDA has stated that these jalapeño and serrano peppers were not connected with the recent outbreak of salmonella poisoning in the United States.
