HELP SAVE MART SAVE OUR POOLS CAMPAIGN CELEBRATES GOAL WITH GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION AT PANNELL MEADOWVIEW POOL ON JUNE 18, 4:00 P.M.
WHAT:
Save Mart and the City of Sacramento announced a campaign on Feb. 14 with the goal of raising $1 million to reopen all of the municipal pools that were open last summer. They are proud to have reached the $1 million goal and want to celebrate with a “pools open for summer” celebration at the opening day of Pannell Meadowview Recreational Pool. Over 200,000 Sacramento area children will be able to enjoy their community pools again this summer due to the success of the $1 million fund-raiser.
A special thanks should go to the following sponsors for their major donations:
- The Greater Sacramento New Car Dealers Association, $60,000
- Wells Fargo, $50,000
- Developer and owner of Railbridge Cellars, Steve Ayers, $32,000
- Rachel Buller, 11-year old Natomas resident and swim team member at Doyle Pool who personally raised over $1,000
