With all the rain lately, no one was sure how the Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco was going to fare this year. But the weather gods gave Northern California a break and Saturday’s event was spectacular. As if to take advantage of something to do outdoors, an estimated one million people crammed along the parade route. Lucky Supermarkets’ float and Big Red, the giant motorized shopping cart, were big crowd-pleasers.
Employees from our Daly City and San Francisco stores worked really hard to put everything together. Great job Lucky team!
