Grocer collects $17,000 for Carr Fire relief efforts
Modesto, Calif.– FoodMaxx grocery stores collected a total of $17,000 for The Salvation Army’s relief efforts in the Redding area affected by Carr Fire.
“I would like to extend a warm thank you to all those who donated,” said Charla Giles, Vice President of Store Operations for FoodMaxx. “This fundraiser would not have been possible without the generosity of our shoppers and the community.”
Four local FoodMaxx stores participated in this fundraiser and 100% of the proceeds will aid local victims.
The Save Mart Companies, the parent company of FoodMaxx, is a committed partner in the communities we serve, donating about $4.5 million annually to local and non-profit organizations.
