On Friday, February 13, Save Mart Supermarkets and Super Store Industries (SSI) will host 14 student participants of the Project Uplift community and school-based mentoring and education program at a full day of insight into the career opportunities and business basics of food manufacturing, product distribution, and retail operations. Project Uplift (Utilizing Positive Leaders to Inspire Future Talent) is supported by Commonwealth, a group of community-minded leaders in Modesto whose mission is to actively engage in improving the Modesto community through volunteerism.
