Company continues hiring for positions in stores and warehouses
Modesto, Calif. The Save Mart Companies announced today that it is still in need of temporary workers for the company. All frontline team members working through these extraordinary times in its FoodMaxx, Lucky and Save Mart stores, as well as its warehouses and transportation, will receive a weekly bonus based on actual hours worked. The company operates stores throughout California and Northern Nevada, and warehouses in Roseville and Merced.
In addition to the union wages and benefits offered under the company’s contracts with UCFW and Teamsters locals in the region, the company has added temporary weekly bonuses of between $2.50 and $3.50 per hour worked that will be in effect during the COVID-19 crisis. For existing team members, the bonus pay is retroactive to the week of March 8.
