The Save Mart Companies (TSMC) presented The Salvation Army with a check of over $55K from their Camp Fire fundraiser that helped collect donations for their relief efforts in Butte County affected by the fire.
TSMC launched the Camp Fire fundraiser back in November 2018 and ran for two weeks. Shoppers were given the opportunity to donate any amount at checkout and 100% of the proceeds will go towards aiding local victims. All TSMC stores, Save Mart, FoodMaxx, Lucky and Lucky California, located in California and Northern Nevada participated in the fundraiser.
“Our customer’s generosity continues to amaze us,” expressed Hal Levitt, TSMC VP of Retail Operations. ” We are so honored to have such amazing customers and community partners like The Salvation Army who care about our communities.”
The check presentation was held at The Salvation Army Northern California Del Oro Division’s brand-new community center in Chico. The TSMC team received a special tour of the center that is currently scheduled to open May 2019.
The Save Mart Companies is a committed partner in the communities we serve, donating about $2.5 million annually to local non-profit organizations.
