Hollister’s Lucky California, located on 291 McCray Street, partnered with local Hollister Prep School PTO and hosted the Supermarket Sweep Fundraiser!
Hollister Prep sold raffle tickets for a chance to win a shopping spree at the newly renovated Lucky California store. Winners were announced on Saturday morning. All fundraiser proceeds benefited the Community Food Bank of San Benito County and Hollister Prep School.
Parents and the community showed up early Saturday morning as they patiently awaited the announcement of the winners. The Grand Prize Winner was Sarah Howell. In ten minutes, Sarah gathered up $1,670 in groceries that filled the back of her car, her friend’s car and a San Benito County Sheriff Officer’s truck who was on hand to help take her groceries home.
