Fresno Save Mart stores are rounding up peanut butter donations by the dozens for our annual Peanut Butter Roundup campaign!
Fresno Save Mart, located on 5750 North First St., is over flowing with donations and the peanut butter keeps on coming!
The Peanut Butter Roundup is meant to raise awareness of the struggles many families experience during the summer break when their kids do not have access to school meals. Peanut Butter makes for a perfect donation because it’s high in protein, shelf-stable and kids enjoy it.
Save Mart customers are offered a Buy One/Give One promotion, making it easy for shoppers to participate. Every time you buy one jar of Sunny Select, Jif or Adams peanut butter, you get another one of the same brand free to donate! For the second year in a row, the “roundup” feature will also be made available at Save Mart and Lucky cash registers. You can roundup your grocery tab, and 100% of the change will benefit local food banks.
In past years, our California and Northern Nevada stores collectively received little under ten tons of peanut butter, enough to make more than a quarter-million sandwiches!
Help spread the love by telling your family and friends to participate! Post pictures about donations on social media by using the hashtag #PeanutButterRoundup to help build momentum for the event.
