Managers and employees of all Save Mart, Lucky and FoodMaxx stores carried out one of their favorite company traditions: delivering goodies to local first responders on the anniversary of 9/11. It’s one small way to thank public safety workers for their service.
Some firefighters were surprised with breakfast. Others received baked treats. Gift cards to our stores are also popular tokens of appreciation. September 11 is still a tough day for many Americans, but it’s also a time to reflect on the heroes who risk their lives for us everyday.
